This committee encourages the use of time, talents, and financial resources of the congregation. It drafts the annual budget (and changes thereto) using other committees, pastoral and church staff inputs for Parish Council and congregational approval. It reviews the financial position monthly and monitors spending based on budget projections. It reports its findings and recommendations to the Parish Council for their action. It conducts an annual program to encourage yearly commitments by members nd friends of the church to support the budget. It also provides financial oversight of all church bank accounts. An annual accountability report is obtained from all church funds that are separate from the general fund. The Church Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer are members of this committee. The committee is financially supported through the church's general operating budget.
