Facilities
We are fortunate to enjoy a beautiful property that includes the Eric Foster Storm Memorial Pavilion and Recreation Area. The area in the forest behind the church building includes a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a challenging Frisbee golf course and a basketball hoop.
Special Facilities

- Columbine Glen
-
Columbine Glen is a lovely outdoor sanctuary located at the east end of the Meditation Walk. Set amid a carpet of native wild flowers, and sheltered by Ponderosa pines, the area is a perfect location for our columbarium. The adjacent Schragg Amphitheater lends a peaceful atmosphere of meditation and prayer...
- Mary Baldwin Davies Meditation Walkway
Columbine Glen is accessed by the Mary Baldwin Davies meditation walkway around the perimeter of the church property. This gravel-paved trail consists of several “meditation corners” and “meditation centers.”
- Daryle Bogenrief Memorial Walkway
A new section of trail was recently built in honor of Daryle Bogenrief. It connects to the Mary Baldwin Davies walkway which leads to Columbine Glen.

- Eric Foster Storm Memorial Pavilion
-
This is a recreation/picnic area at the southeast corner of the church property.

Frisbee golf course
Currently a 9-hole regulation Frisbee golf course, is available both for congregational use and for community members outside the congregation. We apologize for the inconvenience this summer, but the Pine Beetle problem had to be corrected this year. We are still looking to redesign and rebuild the course now that the Pine Beetle problem has been addressed. We are still investigating ways to improve the use of the area.
- Volleyball court and horse shoe pit facilities
Located near the Eric Storm Memorial Pavilion are a volleyball court and horse shoe pits.
We invite you to walk through the many lovely paths of Meditation Walk and visit Columbine Glen along the way. Enjoy the pine-scented breeze, the colors in the woodland flowers; and take a moment for reflection or prayer in this serene setting.
